Outrageous Claims

You'll hear claims like this:
1. Our system Does not require an opt in.
2. Messages are automatic without the user doing anything. Our system finds their phone when it's in range and sends the message.
3. They are displayed as banner ads on over 600,000 websites and apps.

Let's address #1.
Remember Google Nearby? They didn't require an opt in either and guess what? They shut it down rather than fight all the class action Law Suits that were coming at them.
Do you actually think the companies making these claims are bigger than Google?

Now #2
How do you think the ads hit your phone? Whenever you visit a website that little Cookie warning pops up. When you agree to those Cookies you are agreeing to be Spammed.
The Federal Government now mandates that any company using Cookies to capture information MUST disclose this.
How many folks do you suppose actually Accept those Cookies?
Folks are on to the game and fewer than 5% actually do.
Folks HATE those pop-up ads and will go to great lengths to block them. Just Google pop-up blockers, see for yourself.

Now #3.  
Ask them to name a thousand or so sites. Shouldn't be too hard since they claim over 600,000! They will have an excuse or some double talk.

Since their systems are severely lacking they employ slick Marketing folks to dress it up.

Pretty much EVERY Competitor was affected by the demise of Google Nearby, that is everyone but us! We Own our own Code, we are the Developers. Our system is solid and was built from the ground up as a stand-alone system independent of other systems. It is functional and will remain so no matter what Google, Bing, Windows, Apple or Android do.

No User Control

These companies don't have a user control or user opt-in mechanism. Anyone who uses their system or downloads their app gets Constantly Bombarded with messages. This is the primary reason Google stopped their Nearby service...Spam Complaints.

These companies have no way for the customer to throttle messages, categorize them, filter out what they don't want, receive messages based upon THEIR needs, etc.

In other words, the Blast Out Shotgun approach ALWAYS results one of two outcomes:
Uninstalling the App or Filing a complaint, and many times both.

Nearly ALL of them use Beacons

Not only do they want you to invest in Beacons, many only support THEIR Beacon. Do you really want to be in the hardware business? And on top of that, why would you tie yourself into a single manufacturer and be under their control? Just look at all the computer companies and resellers that have failed in just the past two years because of hardware.

Those that don't use Beacons still need a way to link the phone to the message, and that usually involves cookies off a website or pay-per-click. The limitations are significant.

Business Customers have only ONE option.

Businesses not only have the up front fees and subscriptions, they have all the hardware expense. 

They don't help you in the sale, you are on your own. You end up getting into constant call back mode with clients because it takes a LOT of up front selling.

This is a new technology and will take a LOT of explaining and answering of questions to get them to come onboard. Forcing one option only never works.

How cool would it be to simply ask, "Does the idea of Free Customers interest you?"
